Last week was what I would probably regard as the Last week was what I would probably regard as the pinnacle of my career so far💯 I feel very humbled and priviledged to have become the first Master Greenkeeper from the Nordics and one of the youngest ever certified🏅 The journey of my career so far has given the opportunity to travel and see the world, experience different cultures and get great lifelong friends all over the globe. It is such an unique industry to be part of where you feel the support and friendship of fellow turfies wherever you go. The inspiration of pursuing the Master Greenkeeper certificate started already in 2014 and it was my previous boss at Loch Lomond Golf Club, David Cole, who is also MasterGreenkeeper himself, that was the inspiration. Coincidentally David also was one of the course inspectors as part of the certification process to visit Hirsala Golf in the spring of 2013 which built the pressure even higher for me to succeed😁 The Master Greenkeeper process was a demanding but great and rewarding experience and it really pushed me towards next level and higher standards at my work and I can say I am very proud to have taken this next step in my career. Big thanks goes to BIGGA for making this achievement possible. Also congratulatjons on great and well organized awards celebration hosted by @bigga_hq at Harrogate had that feeling of a very prestigious occasion👏 Thank you for all the mentors, friends, colleagues, family & @tuuliaidamaria for continuous support along the way. You know who you are🫶 Now the grind continues on towards next goals👊 ps. Climate Impact for Golf Courses -seminar was well hosted by @therandagolf & @sustainablegolf.
